Un espace de vie au style loft
Un escalier dessiné sur-mesure par l’architecte longe la grande baie vitrée et amène à l’étage, dévoilant une cuisine ouverte avec un îlot central. Les murs et le plafond de l’étage ayant une forme particulière, il a été décidé de les conserver pour favoriser l’ambiance loft. Pour accentuer cette esthétique, un sol en béton Marius Aurenti ainsi qu’un mur de brique de parement ont été posés.
La cuisine, la salle à manger et le séjour s'ouvrent directement sur une grande terrasse baignée de lumière et offrant une vue très dégagée sur le quartier.
Un espace nuit au niveau inférieur du duplex
Les propriétaires et l’architecte se sont rapidement accordés sur l’aménagement de l’espace nuit à l’étage inférieur dès l’entrée dans l’appartement. Cela permet d’orienter les pièces de vie vers la terrasse et de leur apporter de la lumière au travers de la baie vitrée.
Depuis l’entrée, un palier dessert deux chambres, un espace dressing ainsi qu’une salle d’eau. Un escalier dessert l’espace de vie à l’étage du duplex. Pour faire communiquer plus facilement l’entrée aux pièces de vie, la trémie de l’escalier a été agrandie, apportant ainsi un maximum de lumière vers l’étage inférieur.
A living space with loft style
A custom-designed staircase by the architect runs along the large bay window and leads to the upper floor, revealing an open kitchen with a central island. The walls and ceiling of the upper floor, having a unique shape, were preserved to enhance the loft atmosphere. To emphasize this aesthetic, a concrete floor by Marius Aurenti and a brick feature wall were installed.
The kitchen, dining area, and living room open directly onto a large sun-filled terrace offering expansive views over the neighborhood.
A sleeping area on the lower level of the duplex
The owners and the architect quickly agreed to place the sleeping area on the lower floor upon entering the apartment. This arrangement directs the living spaces towards the terrace and brings in natural light through the bay window.
From the entrance, a landing serves two bedrooms, a dressing area, and a bathroom. A staircase leads to the living area on the upper duplex floor. To better connect the entrance with the living spaces, the staircase opening was enlarged, bringing maximum light to the lower level.
